Yvonne Korpershoek, PhD, RN is working as a researcher at the research group Proactive Care since 2014. Her ambition with research is to contribute to enhancing self-management of people with chronic condition.
Yvonne is a nurse and nurse scientist. In 2021 she defended her thesis focusing on self-management in patients with COPD. During her PhD study the self-management support app ‘Copilot for COPD’ was developed. Yvonne is lecturer in Nursing and works as an academic linking pin at the Academic Living Lab for Community Care in Utrecht.
