Since the first of September 2011 I started with my PhD at the Vocational Education Research Group on students’ learning processes in senior secondary vocational education. My research is titled: ‘Understanding students’ learning processes in vocational education: students’ learning activities and outcomes, and vocational educators’ guidance.’
From January 2008 until July 2011, I worked as a researcher for an innovative research project called Professional in Beeld (PIB): ‘Teachers in Vocational Education’. At the same time I was working, and still am, as a lecturer educational psychology/pedagogy at the Primary Education Teacher Training Academy (PABO) at the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. As of September 2010 until now, I take part in the Utrechtse Onderwijs Agenda (UOA), in a community of practice which is focused on the development of talent in pre-vocational and senior secondary education: www.onderwijsweb.hu.nl.
