Suzanne is a lecturer at Brand Communications and International Commercial Communication at Applied University of Utrecht. The courses she provides there, relate to marketing and persuasive communication. She is also lecturer in Corporate Communications at Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. Here she obtained her doctorate in 2006 on the dissertation on information overload among employees. Both at the university of applied sciences and at the university, she guides students through their graduation theses. Suzanne is also conducting research into the successfactors of hook messages, with the project The Network is the Message.
In April 2017, her book 'Content Marketing', the first Appleid University studybook on contentmarketing, was published by Noordhoff Uitgevers. In addition, as an independent professional, she also talks about contentmarketing, hook messages and influencers during workshops and conferences.
