Steven Nijhuis MSc, 1965 is doing doctoral research at the Twente University under the name: Designing curricula to develop relevant competences for project management in higher education. The research will focus on defining competences that Higher Education needs to incorporate in order to prepare students properly for Project Management. Keywords in this research are ‘critical competences (essential)’ and ‘doable (within the scope of higher education)’. The research will focus on three design clusters: built environment, information and communication technology (ICT) and creative industries. An important hypothesis is whether these clusters share enough common ground for comparable education.
