Jelke de Boer has been a researcher at the Crossmedia Business lectorate since 2008. His research focuses on the application of digital media in art, culture and the creative industry. Within the creative industry there is also a need for own research methods such as Creative Research and Research Through Design. The question here is whether a creative design or manufacturing process can lead to new knowledge and other insights.
Since 2016 Jelke de Boer has been involved in the research project Powertools. In addition, he has made an important contribution to the research into festival experience.
