M.A. Henk van den Hurk (1956) is working as a research fellow at the Department of Literacy since 2007. Within this Research Group he is responsible for the data-feedback in a data-use project at the department of teacher training.
In his doctoral research at the University of Groningen Henk is studying the relation between teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge and the quality of their reading instruction and the effects of teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge on the reading process and on students’ reading achievement. This research is supervised by Prof. Wim van de Grift
