From 2009 – 2013 Astrid was projectmanager of the project ‘Mijn Bedrijf 2.0. This project was carried out by a consortium of 4 parties in the province of Utrecht to strenghthen the workplace innovation capability of 400 SME’s. Research showed that the region-group of active companies received a significant higher workplace innovation capability scores than the national reference group did. Also these companies reported that the project had positive effects on company performance, achieving company goals and improving labour productivity.
As researcher and projectmanager she works for the Research Centre Innovation & Business and the Research Centre Social Innovation. Her projects focus on workplace innovation and social enterprises.
As lecturer she is active in the Business Administration program en the Honours Programs in the economic and social faculty. She gives guest lectures in the master of Facility and Real Estate Management and the master Innovation in European Studies. Her expertises are projectmanagement, management consultancy and social entrepreneurship.
Astrid studied Business and Consumer sciences at Wageningen University and graduated the post doc Management consultancy study at SIOO. She worked more than 15 years as management consultant for various consultancy firms in business services and health care. As a freelance consultant she still conducts short assignments in healthcare.
